We are going to california

My brother Robin is in boot camp at Camp Pendelton. He is well on his way to becoming a marine. Last July he was sworn in and we were unable to attended. Dan and I have plane tickets to fly to San Diego and Attend Robin's Graduation. We are looking forward to spending a weekend together without the girls. I am very proud of Robin. He has spent time away from his family and working on bettering himself. Our Family gathered granola bars, letters, cards and love you notes for him. Robyn and I asked Sara, Lacey, Wesley and Zachary's teachers if they could have their classes write letters to the members of Robin's platoon. The response we received was overwhelming. Sara teacher asked all of the faulty at here school to do so. All most all of the school did cards and letters. Z,L,&W teachers did the same as well. We sent more then 300 granola bars, and more then 250 letters. I am hopping for some teary eyed soldiers. The box was deliver to Thursday December 18.

Black friday!!!

Sara and I went shopping friday morninig we arrived at walmart at 4:00 in the morning. Sara had a good time. We joined family members for breakfast. we then picked up Jayne and Abby from grandpa and went to th West Valley parade. The motorcycle police were diving around giving the children fives. They really enjoyed the parade. It was a long day but we had fun. While we were all having fun Dan was working, poor boy. His day started at 3:30 A.M. and ended about

Everybody was kung fu fighting.

They other day the girls got animal balloons. We took them and turned them into numb chucks. Dan and the girls had a great time fighting. Jayne was making the funniest fight face and saying hiya. we all had a great time.

We don't feel good.

Jayne and Abby were feverish and not feeling well so they got blankets and found their place to cuddle and feel yucky!! it was too cute.

So things have changed.

Dan was asked to go back to driving the trucks again. This means he needs to get a CDL to get a raise. His employer has told him they will do what is needed to get a CDL. We talked with the case worker at voc rehab and she is looking into what she can do to help as well. So it looks like he will be getting a lot of help and another leg up in life. Please pray for him. The girls and I are jus doing the some old thing. Sara is still having fun at school. Jayne says Hipponatius for hippo, we thought is was cute. Abby is talking more and more everyday. love to all

Voc Rehab

So they told us that there isn't anything they can do. Dan has found a job that best fits her ability. Dan was bummed to find out that he will have an extremely hard time completeing the couses needed to be a polixce officer. He was diagnoused with 6th grade reading level and 4th grade math level. He would have to bring his education levels up to high school levels. He is planning to contiune working for brinks he does enjoy his job. I have desided that I need to get into school and get a degree. I have no idea what I want to do. If you have any ideas please let me know.

Fall Fun

The girls and I went outside to play in the leaves. We all have fun
jumping in the pile or throwing them at eachother. While we were playing Dan came home so we turned the fun on him.

we had fun trick or treating Jayne was the light watcher. She would tell us if the light was on or not. Sara was the offical trick or treat yeller. Abby just had fun trick or treating.

To the mountains we go!!

Johanna and I took the girls up Big Cottonwood Canyon to see the colors and have some fun. We went to Dounut Falls hiked a little ways and take pictures. Sara had fun throwing leaves, Jayne enjoyed the colors and the mountains, and Abby was wowed(until she fell and hit her knee on a rock). We headed home and while driving Sara was saying that she hadn't had enough busy work. I told her she could go home and clean her room she didn't like that idea. "I was talking about outside busy work! I don't want to do it myself." I asked isn't going to the mountains enough? "No." She ended up cleaning her room anyway.

Anniversery

Thursday the 23 was our anniversary. Dan took me to Anniversary Inn it was beautiful. My parents took the girls so that we could have time to ourselves. We stayed in the Rose Garden Room.We had a great time and enjoyed the quit. It was so sweet of Dan I lave him very much and am thankful that he choose me to marry and love. Friday morning we went to pick up the girls, when we got there Sara asked me," Mom did you have a good time." Yes I told her. " What did you do?" I told her; ate dinner, took a bath,watched movie and cuddled with daddy. "What did you do at the night?" I said I slept. "Me too!!." Some questions and just unexpected.

I don't want to get cold!

Bath time tonight was playtime. I put the curtin inside the tub and the girls splashed away. "Mom this is fun." said Sara. "This fun momma" said Jayne. "Fun" said Abby. Dan Filled a pitcher with cold water and dumped it on Sara. I asked Dan if he was going to do more, Jayne said "No mom, I don't want to get cold." Dan poured water on her anyway.

Voc Rehab

Dan was told to go to Voc Rehab to see is they could provide services to help him toward becoming a police officer. Dan went and meet with a councilor on Thursday. She is sending him to to see a phyc to have his disability diagnosed. After that then we will wait to find out if he is eligible for services. The councilor called me and told me that she has ideas of things that she can do for Dan. She also said that she could help us get into house. :) She sounded very positive of being able to help. Please all pray and croos your fingers for us. It may be 90 days before we find out whats going to happen.

I think...

Jaynes new thing lately is, she says something and ends with "I think", for instance she just told Sara "The cat is in mom's room, I think." She has been doing this an awful lot lately, now that she is three it's all about thinking.

Sara's Solo

Sunday Sara had a solo in the primary program. Grandma and grandpa Ralph, Grandma and Grandpa Tanner, Grandma M, Glenna, and Johanna came to see her sing. She started the program with her singing the 1st verse of I am a Child of God. She sang beautifuly. we all enjoyed watching her. After program she came down and hugged everyone. We had many people come over and tell us she did and great job and how cute she is, Sara was beaming. One of the teenagers in the ward, ( her name is Sara Jane) came over and she said "that girl is awesome i loved her!"

PARTY!!

We had Abby and Jaynes birthday party Saturday.
We had a great time. Dan's whole family was there.
My Mom and Dad, Mindy and kid, and Grandma M and Glenna were there as well. I want to thank you all for coming and supporting us, and showinh love to my children
. Abby was and still is most excited about the baby doll she recived. This doll has gone everywhere. Jayne is excited about all of her gifts. We missed Jaden, he had band competitions.

Jayne's Birthday.

Jayne got a Mr.Potato head for her birthday. That thing had only been cleaned up and put away while Jayne is She is very excited to be three.

Circus Parade

Robyn and I took Wesley, Jayne, Abbby, Cole, Chrystal and Saherra down town to see the circus parade. We wereexcited to see the animals. When the parade was over after 5 minutes. Wesley was very disapponted. See robyn's blog.

Fishing with Grandpa and Grandma

We went to bountiful pond last night with mom and dad. We did diner at the park. While we ate the geese came over to be fed. Jayne was so scared she had dinner under the table where she could be safe. Dan took Sara and went fishing. Sara caught a little blue gill and dan caught nothing. Abby and grandma went to go take pictures and the geese came to see them. One nudged Abby thats when she got scared. we had a good time and enjoyed the sunset.

A journey to the school bus.

we went to go meet Sara at the bus, and Jayne and Abby chose to go as follows:
Jayne was pushing a stoller with a baby, and hanging on the stroller she had a phone, and a purse. She was also wearing a hat... of course.
Abby was also pushing a stroller, and wearing a hat. They pushed their babies all the way to meet Sara, and all the way home.

We are very excited in our home. Jayne is turning 3 on Monday, and Abygail is turning 2 on Friday. The van is up and running and we love having it. Friday night I went to grandma's for game night. Glenna, Grandma and I played domino's we should have for gone games and went to bed. After about ahour grandma started getting goofy. She was commenting on her dominos when seh said that years ago she had told grandpa that she had an itch between her nose. My response was tell me oh learned on how do you scratch such an itch? Glenna busted up laughing. and thats when we all lost it. We spent the next 10 minutes giggling. If anyone has and answer to my question please educate me.

Today was much better. No major drama in the life of Ralph. Love you all. Hugs and kisses.

All I Could Do Was Cry

Jayne and Abby were happily playing in the hall as I sat in the living room reading my book. I got up to go check on them, and found that they had dumped half a bottle of my liquid laundry soap on the carpet in the hall. Abby and the cat were covered from top to bottom. I put then in the tub, and now I will be vacuuming suds all day!! I guess the good news is that the carpet in the hall will be real clean after I am done!
