This a story of a girl.

So as you all know I have been saying that I will be going back to school. Well I am all set to start on Wednesday the 26th. Let me tell you about my experience. I July I fully intended to get over and get the ball rolling. I waited until the week that Johanna was here so that she would sit with the girls. I worked out the Friday that week was to be the day. We all know what happened that day. Hello appendicitis. Then I had healing time I was to take. Ok so that put me at last week. On Wednesday I went over and talked with this person and that and took the assessment test. They told me that I should be able to register in 24 to 48 hours. Well that is Friday. Is past Friday I came down with an infection of some kind in my throat. I think it was tonsillitis, the doctor wasn't sure he just was positive that I needed antibiotics. Saturday was the pike of infection day. I have been getting better and hope I am done being sick for a while knock on wood!! Anyway back to the matter at hand. I went to my student "My Page" on the SLCC web site and found that I still could not register. I called and talk to someone got that started out and started to register. I pulled up the calls I needed to get into and of the 3 I could get into 1. I was not happy. So I register for the 1 class and was left to hope that I could get the instructors to let me in on the first day. I know nothing about financial aid and i scares the crap out of me. so far ever thing seems to be OK. I now get to go stand in line a financial aid to turn in one piece of paper. With that done I should be fine right?! This morning I received a phone call for a lady named Debbie, she is with the cosmetology program and has called to tell me that I need to be signed up for all the classes or non. Would I like to have them all? Of course! Apparently the is a waiting list for these classes and I by weird happening I registered for that class just as someone dropped it. So long story short I got into all the classes I need to be in and all my financial aid needs are being met. Thank Goodness.
